مهمان برنامه را با علاقه توضیح می‌دهد، اما چند کلمهٔ کوچک جلوی برداشت اغراق‌آمیز را می‌گیرد: try یعنی تلاش می‌کنند، don't promise یعنی قول قطعی نمی‌دهند.

Interviewer: What happens at your repair café?

Guest: Neighbours bring small broken things, like lamps or torn bags, and volunteers try to repair them together. Visitors can watch and learn. We don't promise to fix every item, and we never work on something that seems unsafe.

Interviewer: Why do people come if a repair isn't guaranteed?

Guest: Some want to save an object they like; others want to learn a simple skill. And sometimes the best outcome is an honest answer: this can't be repaired here.

Interviewer: So it is about more than the object?

Guest: For many visitors, yes. The conversation matters too.
