بلال دو ایراد می‌گیرد، اما ضبط‌کردن را یکسره رد نمی‌کند. پیشنهادش این است که اگر اجازه داشتند، ضبط فقط برای بررسیِ بخش مبهم به کار برود.

Ava: I'm going to record the lecture and listen again later. That way I won't miss a word.

Bilal: Are recordings allowed in this class? We should ask first. Also, I never find time to replay a full hour.

Ava: Good point about permission. Still, I struggle when the teacher moves quickly.

Bilal: What if we each note the main ideas and compare them after class? If recording is allowed, you could use it to check one confusing section.

Ava: That sounds manageable. I'll ask the teacher before class starts.

Bilal: Great. I'll bring the outline from last week so we know what to listen for.
