نقد از «خوشم آمد» فراتر می‌رود: خواننده می‌خواهد بداند چه می‌بیند و آیا با سلیقه‌اش جور است. نمایشگاه این تمرین خیالی است؛ می‌توانید جزئیات بسازید، ولی باید با هم سازگار باشند.

The exhibition ‘Our Street at Dawn’ follows one neighbourhood through a set of quiet photographs. I especially liked a picture of a baker opening his shop while the road was still empty. The short captions helped me notice details I would have missed, such as the changing shop signs. The room is small, so visitors looking for a large, varied show may finish quickly. I also wished there were a map showing where each photograph was taken. Still, if you enjoy looking closely at ordinary places, this exhibition offers a thoughtful half-hour. I would recommend going slowly rather than trying to see every image at once.
