کاربردی‌ترین جمله برای مسافرها

“Excuse me, could you take a photo of us, please?” (ببخشید، می‌شه یه عکس از ما بگیرید؟) و بعد: “Just press this button. Could you get the whole building in? … Thanks so much!” (فقط این دکمه را بزنید. می‌شه کل ساختمون توی عکس باشه؟ خیلی ممنون!)

take، نه make

در انگلیسی عکس را take می‌کنید؛ هیچ‌وقت make a photo یا در محاوره‌ی معمولی shoot a photo. take a picture هم می‌گویند. عکاس حرفه‌ای ممکن است یک کمپین را shoot کند، اما برای ما آدم‌های معمولی همان take است.

حرف زدن درباره‌ی یک عکس

• This is a great shot! — چه عکس خوبی!
• It's a bit blurry — my hand was shaking. — کمی تار است؛ دستم می‌لرزید.
• The lighting is perfect — it was taken at sunset.
• Can you zoom in on the tiles? They're beautiful. — روی کاشی‌ها زوم کن؛ خیلی قشنگ‌اند.
• Did you use a filter? The colours look amazing.
• I'm not very photogenic — I always close my eyes! — خیلی خوش‌عکس نیستم؛ همیشه چشمم را می‌بندم!

نکته‌های عکاسی (به انگلیسی)

Shoot during “golden hour” — the hour after sunrise and before sunset. Don't use the flash in museums. Hold the phone steady to avoid blurry photos. Try landscape mode for wide views and portrait mode for people.

(در «ساعت طلایی»، یعنی یک ساعت بعد از طلوع و قبل از غروب، عکاسی کنید؛ در موزه فلاش نزنید؛ گوشی را ثابت نگه دارید تا عکس تار نشود؛ برای منظره‌ها حالت افقی و برای آدم‌ها حالت عمودی را امتحان کنید.)
